Establishing a Schedule

A microdose schedule will vary from person to person. According to Paul Stamet and his “Stamets Stack,” Stamet recommends 5 days on, and 3 days off. So what does that mean? That means that you would take the appropriate dose for five days in a row, and then NOT take it for the next three days. On the 9th day, you would resume taking the dose for five days straight and then stop taking it for the three days following that and so on. One of the main reasons for taking days off is to allow your brain to open up and awaken those neurological pathways that have been put to sleep as a result of our fast-paced, repetitive and hectic day to day lifestyle. Another important reason for rest days is to prevent tolerance. Building a healthy and respectful relationship with psilocybin, or any sacred sacrament, is very much encouraged. Stamets Stack is a recommendation, but not an absolute must for a schedule. Beginners can choose to microdose 3 days on and 3 days off if they see fit to their personal lifestyle. Every Body is different. The best practice for establishing a schedule should be listening to your own intuition, mind and body.
